Dave Dodson was a great friend and a long term member and officer for our club. Dave lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday, June 22, 2010.
Dave will be best remembered for his very subtle humor and willingness to help where ever he could. He will be very missed.

David Gary Dodson Jr.
April 18, 1942 - June 22, 2010
David Gary Dodson Jr., 68, of 2110 Columbia Ave., Tyrone, died Tuesday at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late David G. and Renetta (McGough) Dodson Sr. He married Cherie Ingold-Dodson Oct. 9, 1999.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters: Tina Zolna and Heather Long, both of Altoona; a son, David Terrill of Columbus, Ohio; their mother, Kathy Terrill; three stepchildren: Jack Patterson of Brooklyn, N.Y., Marianne Serven of West Milford, N.J., and Katrina Patterson of Xenia, Ohio; four grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; two sisters: Donna (Bill) Linkow of Marriotsville, Md., and Della Dodson of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Dodson, formerly of Hollidaysburg.
Mr. Dodson was a 1960 graduate of Altoona High School and a graduate of Penn State University in the School of Architecture.
He served four years in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era. He retired from the Penn State University architectural department after 19 years of service.
David was a member of Tyrone Trinity Episcopal Church. He also was a member of Masonic Lodge 282 of Hollidaysburg and the Jaffa Shrine. He was very active in the Altoona Corvette Club and was serving as secretary.
David had just finished restoring his 1959 Corvette and always enjoyed his model cars and trains. He especially enjoyed his four dogs: Lewis, Maggy, Spike and Bear.
